Happy 10th Birthday Gabe!!

I can't believe it but our big guy is officially 10 years old!! It's so exciting for us (and overwhelming) seems like just yesterday when his was just a tiny little "wiggler" fighting for his life, and today... well- he's kicking butt and taking names!!!

Quick picture with his birthday hat they gave him at school. (This is the first time ever Gabe has had school on his birthday... we had a strike in our district and while most people were upset about the long school year- Jeremy and I were glad the teachers stood up for what was right; and Gabe was ecstatic to have a birthday party at school!!!)Gabe and Daddy at birthday dinner.Gabe yelling "CHEESE" in his picture with mommy!!Yay!! Happy Birthday "ME!"
Daddy, Mommy, and Me!!
Gabe posing with is birthday sundae!! Big boy putting his own seat back in the van!! Being goofy after he got his seat back in the van!!
I love this one, he can always make me smile!!! We love you so much Gabe!! Thank you for everything you do to inspire us, and make us better, happier and really just so PROUD to be your parents- LOVE ALWAYS!!! Mommy & Daddy :)

Phillies Fun Night!!

It was a gorgeous night- nice and warm and packed with FUN!!
The Phillie Fanatic!Shane Victorino #8!!Home Run!!There was lots of excitement! People getting engaged!!
A guy ran out on the field and it took them quite a while to catch him! The best part was for a minute nobody was going after him yet, and he was just standing in the infield and shook hands with one of the players... (I missed that pic) but then... the chase was on!!!
dude, finally busted!! there were a lot of homers in this game, we got lucky - The Phillies won 10 to 8
Kim and Martin- Kim is one of the math teachers I work with (Martins her hubby!)

our park adventure...(Part 1 of 3)

This past weekend we went and checked out a local park, this one is different from most that we have tried. This has a few water features a stream. There's a catch and release pond and it is very popular with water fowl. I'll be posting a lot of pictures of the ducks and geese, Gabe didn't care for them walking all over the place around him but this next thing he really liked. We were walking the path when Jeremy spotted a beaver floating like a log in the stream- It was just about dusk and the pictures weren't turning out as well as I would have liked...

and once we started taking pictures and making a big deal out of him, he started to swim away but I did get a little bit of video. My favorite part has to be Gabriel's reaction to the beaver and how cool he thinks it is!!
Enjoy...
