A DeWitte Wedding!

My cousin Mikey got married this past weekend to his girlfriend of 5 years Amantha. (Aren't they just the most adorable family? )

I flew home for the wedding and reception it was a whirlwind!! I flew out of Philly at 9:30 am and arrived in Detroit at 11:15am- caught the shuttle to the rental car and drove up to Goodrich. I changed and headed out to the wedding! It was so great seeing everyone and I will post some pictures from the wedding and reception in my next post! After the reception and clean up it was back to Aunt Dort's and a little sleep, left for Detroit at 2pm on Sunday made it through security and my flight left for Philly at 5:35pm- landed safe and sound at home 7:15pm- WOW!! It was a whirlwind for sure but it was SO WORTH IT!! It was great seeing everyone and it was especially wonderful getting to be there for my Mikey's wedding!! I wouldn't have missed it for the world!!

Saturday Driving...

Went for a drive Saturday before last and here is a few of the snapshots...

We stopped at this park east of us a ways and there was a lake, it was cool- Gabe loved looking at the birds... Jeremy was excited to catch this"

Jeremy's New Camera at the Aquarium...

Jeremy got to break in his new camera a bit during our visit to the National Aquarium in Baltimore.

Our first real snow! Well, kind of...

We got our first real snow last night, there were flurries one other time but not even enough to cover the grass, so this is neat! As you can see... it almost completely covers the grass!!

It has also stuck around since last night- it's 9am - so we might actually have some snow around for a while!!

Well, I guess not.

That was our short-lived taste of snow... better luck next time I guess!!

Aquarium Visit

We decided we don't get out enough... so this past Sunday we drove down to Baltimore to check out the National Aquarium again. We have a membership and decided it's silly we don't go more.

Anyway, it was a great opportunity for us to break in the new camera's!! I'm going to post some of the pictures we took later tonight but I really just wanted to share a few of the candid's I got of my guys while we were there. I am one lucky girl!!

My new Toy!!

As you know Jeremy just got a really cool new camera, well.. it's no DSLR but I got a pretty darn cool camera too!!

I got the Sony DSC-H7 it's an amazing point and shoot camera and is exactly what I wanted!! (8.1mp with a 15x optical Carl Zeiss lens!) It shoots HD video too if I'm feeling creative! I'm really just excited about it's ability to do what I really want out of a family workhorse camera. Take pictures of whatever I want- whenever and wherever I want and make them look good!

New toys...

I got my hubby a new toy and just wanted to share. If you know us, well... then you know we like techie toys, so you'll appreciate that I got Jeremy a new camera. If you know anything about cameras then you'll know he's really happy with the one I got him! I got him a Nikon D80 Digital SLR. (I also got him the 18-55mm & the 55-200mm lenses. If he's a really good boy he may get an even bigger VR lens for our anniversary! )

It's a really nice camera and he's very excited to learn all the fun new things he can do with it.

I just Love this picture!

New tooth already broke thru!!

New tooth has broke thru where the old one fell out! Now if we can just get the rest of this whole loose them move them around phase done, maybe our poor son can get an entire smile full of his teeth in! Poor kiddo- he's lucky he's cute because he's got a gap goin' on that gives SpongeBob a run for his money!!

(Hey, I can say it... I'm his mom and I LOVE HIM!! Besides, he is REALLY darn CUTE!! :)

We had a couple of nights of fun filled Cranium! Guys against the Gals!!
