Ok, post number three on the Landscaping Project! (ha!!)

We're almost there: filled in the holes, came up with a potting solution for my annuals, added a few shepherds hooks, planted the wild/ornamental grass to eventually mask the HVAC unit, diverted the water to pool in front of the landscaping wall, and finished up the rest of the area. Only a couple more things and we'll be done!! Check out our progress:

Coming together nicely!!

Had some extra sweet potato vine, just planted it in front of the wall for this year, looks nicer from far away- LOL!!

Diverting the water is a huge success, it floods in front of the wall and then waters our planting bed, instead of drowning it and flooding all the way up to our cement slab and washing all our mulch away- Yay!

There are a few plants that won't be up and running until spring, but we've got the potted annuals to get us by for now. I really like the way Jeremy's recycle bin wall turned out, you can't see the bin until you're standing right on top of our landscaping area!! (hint of blue sticking out)

Created a little seating area, it's nice for when we're waiting to get Gabe off the bus :)

Extending our walkway to make it easier with Gabe's wheelchair was a snap!!

I can't wait for the ornamental grass to take off and mask our HVAC...

totally different feel to the entryway!
