Jeremy and I love Netflix. We have been using them for a while. Along with DVD's they also offer a lot (over 10,000 titles) of "on demand" content. You can watch any of those titles immediately right on your computer. I LOVE THAT!! That is how I watch 90% of the TV shows I like anyway. I watch "How I met your Mother" at the shows CBS website. and the same goes for a lot of other shows I like. I just watch them on the computer when it's convenient for me. However, Jeremy doesn't like it- he doesn't want to watch T.V. or Movies on the Computer- he wants to watch them on our T.V. ( I get it, our T.V. is much bigger than our monitor and the couch much more comfortable than the computer chair, LOL)
Anyway, we have a new toy that fixes some of that problem!! The Netflix Player by Roku. If you already use Netflix. it's a no brainer- you just buy the player and that's it. No additional monthly fee. I love it, The box it tiny- it works both wired and wirelessly (which is how we hooked it up) and it automatically has your instant queue available on your T.V. (YAY!!) I've been using it all day and thought I would share. It's HD ready as soon as Netflix starts streaming in HD, but so far ABC.com is the only site I've seen that's streaming in HD, you can watch episodes of LOST in HD.
It's so little and cute! Check it out!!
It's smaller than a DVD case!! (it's the little black box to the right of the DVD case)

Ooh, I love gadgets and have already been scoping this one out. It's also temptingly affordable!
Lemme know if you like the quality. I wonder if it works with TiVo?
The quality is great!! We LOVE IT! You just have to search the "Watch Instantly" section to make sure there's enough there to interest you- they have over 10,000 titles but some of them are old. We love that there's T.V. series there- We watch Heroes, and there's stuff there from PBS for Gabe too!
